1969 Honda CB175 K3 Restoration

Here we have yet another family heirloom. This time a daughter found herself in possession of her father's prized 1969 Honda CB175. After her husband lovingly did some work to get it running, the decision was made to take this bike back to its former glory and take it to a "professional" as it was put.

Initially this bike was going "all-in" and chroming EVERYTHING. After a quick quote for all the pieces it was decided we would just do the front and rear fenders. Chrome is pricey! You cannot get NOS rear fenders for these bikes any longer so redoing the originals was the only option. Instead of chrome, we decided to vapor hone all the remaining pieces to brighten everything up as best we could.

A powder coated frame would hold all the freshly honed, plated and painted pieces. New tires, cables, brakes, etc. would obviously go along with the restoration. Now this bike is ready to teach a newly minted driver how to ride a motorcycle and continue the legacy of their CB175.
