1972 Honda CT70 Level 2 Restoration
This is the second of three CT70's from the same customer. This one being a Candy Ruby Red version. Check out the previous CT70 I restored for this customer. The third one, a Candy Gold version will be featured shortly.
This bike and the previous one were in the family since brand new back in the 70's. This bike received a Level 2 Restoration. This bike is the "roughest" of the three having suffered more abuse and ridden much more than the other two. This one has over 5,000 miles on it! This bike needed a new exhaust system, seat, rear shocks, a new clutch and a bunch of cosmetic work. All the corrosion was removed and polished. The rear swingarm and chain guard were removed and painted the original color. The new paint doesn't match up the best but this was the decision based on budgetary restraints. A new clutch and a steering lock tab rounded out the bulk of the work done on this bike. She's ready for another 5K.
