1976 Honda CB750 K6 Restoration

1976 Honda CB750 Restoration
Here is a 1976 CB750 brought to me by one of my Pennsylvania customers, Roger. Roger owned this bike since '78 if I'm not mistaken. Having been a bike mechanic back in the day he was looking for someone to do the heavy lifting on this one. The bike needed to be completely redone from top to bottom.
There was no expense spared on this rebuild. From fresh chrome to the last known original OEM exhaust system you could find, everything on this bike looks new. Roger even provided a set of balanced pistons to install after another set he had ended up having clearance issues.
For the CB750 aficionados out there, you may be wondering how a '76 can have a blue tank. Well it's a simple answer. Roger wanted a blue one back in the day but red was the only color offered that year. So when the restoration was being done, he decided to make the bike the color he always wanted.
After everything was all tidied up and a few bugs were dealt with this CB750 runs and rides like a new bike. For my money, there is nothing better than a well sorted CB750. There's a reason this bike was such an industry changing machine back in the day. Even after 50 years these bikes can provide mile after mile of reliable service.
