1985 Kawasaki GPZ750 Project Background
Here is the first of three 80's era Kawasaki's one owner has decided to breathe some life into and add to a growing collection. Along with this '85 750, the customer also has a 1984 GPZ700 and a GPZ1100 in the project queue.
This particular bike needed a little of a lot if that makes sense. The biggest issue was the carbs from both a mechanical and aesthetic standpoint. After a good internal cleaning and rebuild, the exterior surfaces were cleaned and painted the original factory black. After the carbs were done the forks were rebuilt and painted along with a long list of cleaning, polishing, painting and buffing. All said and done the bike came out great with a good massaging.
