BMW GS Gas Tank Project Background
This qualifies as one of the greatest before/after projects I've done. First off, flames. No. Just don't! Second. Never, ever, ever on a BMW. There are too many layers of wrong with flames on a BMW.
After getting through the layered mess, I had a little freedom to create. This particular customer expressed a fondness for the silver and black "shadow" tanks on the old R90S so I added some shadows to the new paint to mimic the classic BMW's.
